I'm thinking of starting a new shop to sell all kinds of jewelry... not just owls! But one of the hardest parts of starting a shop is thinking of a name.
Wondering how people come up with the names they have... any thoughts?
It is really hard coming up with a name. My shop is called Little Tesoro and Tesoro means treasure in Italian. I went to dictionary.com and played around in the thesaurus section and I came upon the word Tesoro. I often use the same method to name my items. Good luck!
So Many Memories was born when my daughter and I were talking about our memories learning how to sew. Since it's a sewing business I wanted to use 'sew' instead of 'so' but it was already taken :( I know how nerve wracking it can be...good luck!
My name happened by accident, I need a new email account and that's the name I came up with, then next thing I knew I was putting it on everything. I sounds ok to me, but a lot of people ask me what it means. My shop name is Additionsstyle.
i've got to be honest i have no idea how i did! i just thought...what is most jewelry made of- beads-what do i do a lot of the time...well i'm busy...play on words "beadybody" it just came to me...i like play on words names!
My shoppe is actually named after my ragdoll kitten, Calypso. She was named Calypso due to my other kitten's (Darwin's) absolute obsession with her. She has a silent meow (for some reason her vocal cords are dysfunctional). I'm also, obviously, a fan of Greek mythology, and the story of Calypso.
my shop name is capow. it's based from my name: first and middle initials (CA) + first three letters of my last name (Pow) = CAPow!
ReplyDeletelol, love the capow! Mine is the same as my blog name.

ReplyDeleteMine is my first name (Kaati) and a combination of mine and my husband's last names (Ross + Ricketts = Rocketts.) I'm a big fan of name combinations.
